PRESENTATION OF THE STRUCTURE :
An experience within Delta France Associations, c'is to integrate an association whose spearhead is the'commitment of the youth of France. Through'actions in favour of culture, the'environment, health, solidarity and'inclusion, student life, the'innovation, scientific research and sport, the'association is the'one of the great leaders of youth mobilization.
Delta France Associations, c'is also a structure that develops rapidly in an atmosphere "start-up" and which combines innovative local, national and European missions.
L'association also organizes the Delta Festival. This large gathering has become the most important student forum in'Europe with 150,000 festival-goers in 2022, 700 structures represented and over 5,000 volunteers/organizers.
This event is a good example of the philosophy of the'association: the need for'combine the festive and the'commitment to spread positive messages to the youth population and to the partners who gravitate around this ecosystem.
MAIN MISSION:
Under the authority of the Technical Director of the Delta Festival, the store manager works closely with the logistics/delivery department.
He/she is responsible for the storage, tidying and maintenance of the equipment belonging to the festival or rented for the occasion:
- Participates in the preparation of the festival by taking charge of the association's warehouse and its layout
- Ensures that the inventory provided by the Delta Festival is kept up to date
- Prepare and lead the packaging and organization of the transportation of the material to the festival site (idem in the opposite direction after the dismantling of the festival)
- Arranges the storage conditions of the store on the festival site and organizes the storage of the stock
- Ensures the movement and follow-up of the provision and return of equipment and materials
- Receives and inspects the various vehicles and equipment used by the Delta Festival
- Manages the schedule for the provision of equipment, vehicles, site machinery and the register
of use
- Manages the delivery of fuel for vehicles and construction equipment
- Is in contact with service providers to manage breakdowns and replacements of equipment
(walkie-talkies, etc...), vehicles and construction equipment
- Manages the receipt/return, storage and recharging of Walkie Talkies and electro
portable
- Manages the receipt/return of fire extinguishing equipment
- Collaborates with the Logistics department for the reception and distribution of deliveries on site
- Participates in re-stocking orders and organizes transportation
(consumables, etc...)
- Take all the precautions of storage according to necessities (flammable, toxic products...)
PROFILE SOUGHT:
- Experience in similar role desired or proven experience in the field
festival logistics
- Good knowledge of the tools, materials and consumables used on a festival
- At ease with MS Office suite and spreadsheet software in particular
- Human qualities: great relational ease, diplomacy and firmness according to needs
- Organizational skills: structured, rigorous and autonomous
- Good resistance to pressure in the context of just-in-time situations (concentration of
requests for incoming and outgoing material)
- Sensitivity to eco-responsibility appreciated
CONDITIONS:
Available from August 10 to September 1
Preparation work to be done before (inventory, storage, packaging) and after the festival (storage, inventory update)
Intermittent CCDU contract
