As organizers of large-scale events, our responsibility is to mobilize for the preservation of the environment in festive environments.
The Delta Green system is designed to ensure a committed and responsible festival. We celebrate and take care of the planet!
Responsible consumption
Energy: To supply the festival with energy, we have chosen a supplier French green energy : Enercoop. We want to optimize our energy resources, by setting up a solar-powered stage for example.
Mobility: Logistical transport within the festival will be carried out by Toutenvélo : moving the equipment via the use of cargo bikes. The Delta also offers the Transport Pack for members of student associations and festival-goers. This pack provides buses in from about twenty European cities. The Delta also encourages festival-goers to use transportation collaborative, the use of public transport of the Metropolis of Aix-Marseille as well as bicycles and scooters available in self-service in the city.
Materials: For the furnishing and decoration of the site, we prefer reusable materials acquired second-hand or on hire. The signage is designed to be reusable over several editions with, for example, stands designed from rental pallets
Charters : In order to ensure the continuity of our eco-responsible approach on the entire site of the Festival, the association Delta France has decided to have all Delta stakeholders sign a charter Festival with all the commitments and behaviors to adopt on the site. Through these charters, we invite our partners to apply the 5R (Reduce, Reuse, Repair, Recycle) and to commit to our eco-responsible approach.
Outdoor devices
Clean my delta: The Clean my Delta is a cleaning operation on the beaches of the Prado and the festival area, organized with the aim of making them cleaner than initially found and to raise awareness among festival-goers to the fight against littering. It gathered on the 2022 edition, more than 300 participants with the presence of 6 partner organizations. It will be co-organized with the association Clean My Calanques, Wings of the Ocean, 1 Déchet par Jour with the participation of Capillum, Recyclop and Octop'us and will make participants win prizes.
Exterior cleaning : initiative to set up cleaning brigades around the site from 2am to 5am. This brigade will represent 100 people who will be identifiable by chasubles. The marauding will be done by teams of 2 to 3 volunteers of the Festival who will collect the waste before the residents wake up.
